For twenty years, the stunning stage of DIF has hosted the Expression International Dance Competition, an international contest featuring classical dance, choreographic composition, modern contemporary, hip hop, and freestyle. Open to dance students of all nationalities aged 6 and up, it welcomes soloists, duets, and groups judged by a prestigious international panel.
Numerous scholarships are awarded for leading dance institutions worldwide, along with employment contracts with companies such as Dance Now Miami, Cirque du Soleil, Rijeka Ballet Company, and many others, in addition to cash prizes and workshops.
The competition provides educational and professional opportunities for young dancers, acting as a springboard for a career in the dance world. Over 5,000 dancers from around the globe participate in the event. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Expression International Dance Competition, a special gala will take place on Saturday, February 22!
