Expression International Dance Competition – the international competition dedicated to classical dance, choreographic composition, modern and contemporary dance, hip hop, and freestyle, open to dance students of all nationalities aged 6 and up, for soloists, duos, and groups – returns to DIF with an exceptional jury!
Numerous scholarships are awarded to leading dance institutions around the world, along with prize money and training programs. The competition creates educational and professional opportunities for young dancers, serving as a springboard for a future career in the world of dance.

DANIELA RAPISARDA and ALESSANDRO VACCA of Oniin Dance Company (Artistic Director, choreographer, and founder / Principal dancer and choreographer). A scholarship is available for TOUCH LAB SPRING 2026: the pre-professional training program of Oniin Dance Company (Rome, March–June 2026), PERIDANCE CENTER NY – 100% Scholarships: one month of free access to all open classes at Peridance Center New York (valid for one year from the date of award), MoDem ATELIER – TEATRO SCENARIO PUBBLICO – 100% Scholarship: one week of free access to the advanced training course of Zappalà Dance Company (Catania).
ARBEN GIGA, choreographer and creative director of Not Just Hip Hop, London, United Kingdom. A scholarship is available for NOT JUST HIP HOP EXPERIENCE (London, June 2026).
ASHLEY BROWN, Director of the MARTHA GRAHAM SCHOOL. Full scholarships are available at the adult level (Over) and one at the youth level (Junior) for the Teens Summer Intensive 2026 (New York, July).
FILIP BARANKIEWICZ, Artistic Director of the CZECH NATIONAL BALLET. An internship contract is available with the corps de ballet of the Czech National Ballet, Balet Národního Divadla (Prague).
JOSH SLATER, Deputy Director of Teaching Programs at THE PLACE London Contemporary Dance School. A scholarship is available for the London Contemporary Dance School summer program (July 2026).
JULIEN DESPLANTEZ, graduate of the CNSMD in Lyon with a Teaching Qualification in Contemporary Dance, performer with the companies of Nathalie Pubellier, Corinne Lanselle, and Caroline Bo, and founder of his own company in 2008. Five courses are available at STUDIO HARMONIC (Paris, July 2026).
MARIANA GIUSTINA BARAVALLE, Director of the Conservatori Professional de Dansa Institut del Teatre. A one-week invitation is available to attend a course at the Professional Dance Conservatory of the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona (Academic Year 2025–2026).
SIMONA FERRAZZA, faculty member at the National Ballet Academy of Amsterdam. One week of classes is available at the Dutch Ballet Academy in Amsterdam.
TATIANA SEGUIN, director of her dance and theatre company Cie Tatiana Seguin and creator of the powerful performance Descendantes De Combattantes, focused on Black female figures. A full pass is available for workshops and performances at LE GRAND FESTIVAL DE LA DANSE D’ANGOULÊME (April 15–19, 2026).
TRACY INMAN, Co-Director of The Ailey School. A scholarship is available for THE AILEY SCHOOL (New York, 2026).
ADRIA FERRALI, Artistic Director and founder of the DAP Festival and the David di Michelangelo Award – International Dance Competition of the City of Florence.
AFSHIN VARJAVANDI, choreographer and director of INC INNPROGRESS COLLECTIVE.
BABY ROC 1, a committed and constantly evolving artist, emerging as a rising figure in the French hip-hop scene.
