The 21st edition of Danzainfiera arrives with an innovative and powerful campaign titled "Dancers have the power.
Color, form, movement, music: a visual manifesto that tells the story of dance as a tool for empowerment, a creative discipline and daily commitment, an instrument of awareness and personal and collective transformation.

In other words: through dance, change is in our hands.

The author and protagonist of the campaign is Isabel Wenzel, a German artist, acrobat, and photographer who, in front of the lens, assumes positions on the edge of the impossible, defying gravity. At the center of her research is the perfectly trained body, which in the fleeting moment of the self-timer becomes almost sculptural, expressing power, energy, and determination. Because "Dancers have the Power," to quote the Patti Smith track that celebrates the power of ordinary people to change the world together, urging us not to give up, not to abandon our dreams, to believe.
Isabel Wenzel and Patti Smith: two artists capable of inspiring, two women who guide us through this new edition of Danzainfiera. Wenzel's poses are not out of the ordinary. They are the result of rigorous work on the body, of absolute control. At the same time, Smith's words push us toward action and commitment. Yes, dance is an act of freedom and transformation. Not just performance, but authentic power, built over time and amplified through sharing it with others.
