ABOUT US
The International Ukrainian Ballet Center (C.I.B.U.), founded in 2003, has been training dance teachers across Europe for over 20 years with one clear goal: to promote high-quality teaching in amateur dance schools and certify achievements through officially recognized grade examinations.
C.I.B.U. stands out for the excellence of its direction and teaching faculty:
•    Artistic Direction and Supervision: Caterina Calvino Prina, Director of the Ukrainian Academy of Ballet of Milan
•    Classical Training: Teachers from the Ukrainian Academy of Ballet of Milan
•    Modern and Contemporary Training: Renowned international instructors
•    Technical Supervision: Alvina Kalchenko (1936–2024), historic Director of the Kiev Ballet Academy and co-creator of the C.I.B.U. programs
The collaboration of these distinguished professionals led to the creation of programs based on the Professional Vaganova Method, adapted for amateur and private schools.
This method is effective, sustainable, and proven over time, enabling schools and students to achieve tangible progress and official certification through grade exams.
In addition to teacher training, C.I.B.U. organizes workshops, masterclasses, and summer camps for teachers and dancers, providing opportunities for artistic growth and exchange with international masters.
