Brand Profile
Accademia Bozzolini - Scuola del Balletto di Toscana is a place where dance becomes art, passion, and professionalism. With the goal of training well-rounded dancers ready to join leading international companies, the Academy offers a study program that integrates classical and contemporary techniques, choreographic workshops, repertory, and masterclasses with world-renowned teachers. An innovative approach that enriches students' training: that’s the project connecting dance and music, through guided listening sessions, providing a unique opportunity to explore the relationship between movement and sound.
Founded in 1970 by Cristina Bozzolini and Lilia Bertelli as the Centro Studi Danza, the school has evolved over time, becoming the Scuola del Balletto di Toscana in 1987 and nurturing numerous talents who now shine internationally. In 2024, Cristina Bozzolini receives the prestigious "Fiorino d'oro" award from the city of Florence, recognizing her extraordinary career in the world of dance. Following this important celebration, the Academy enters a new phase of growth: with Mario Setti as President and Hektor Budlla as Artistic Director, it changes its name to Accademia Bozzolini - Scuola del Balletto di Toscana and moves to its new location at Via Pellas 47, reaffirming its mission to prepare the dancers of the future in a stimulating and cutting-edge environment.
